Movie Thoughts: Spencer

I’ve had these Movie Thought drafts piling up for the last month. I saw this movie twice — a week ago and at the beginning of the month. It benefitted from my second screening.

I like Kristen Stewart. She shows humanity and humility in her public persona. She’s not the best in terms of technical ability, but she’s made a career out of being in the right place at the right time and for the most part she’s done what she can to show graciousness in good fortune. I was very happy to hear she’d knocked this performance out of the park, and with such a fascinating subject in Lady Di, as well.
